Dr. O’Neill was retained by Avista Capital Partners in 2008. Dr. O’Neill began his career at Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) in 1976. After holding Research and Development and New Business Development leadership positions in Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical business, he moved to the Medical Devices and Diagnostics Group in 1989. Within this group, he held board level senior management positions in Research and Development and New Business Development in the surgical and interventional cardiology/radiology business units, and at the corporate level. Dr. O’Neill retired from Johnson & Johnson in 2006.
Dr. O’Neill received a B.S. in Pharmacy and Ph.D. in Pharmacology from The Ohio State University. He currently serves on the boards of Lantheus Medical Imaging, OptiNose and Zest Anchors.
